Music Streaming In the Car

Hi,

I understand that you cannot benefit from music freedom (unlimited streaming of services like Pandora) if you use hotspot tethering.  This much I understand, but I'd like to have clarification on two other things:

1. I have a Lexus ES-300h with its native Pandora "app".  This app streams from pandora using the bluetooth connected phone's data connection.  Does a bluetooth connection to the car's entertainment system constitute "tethering"?  My assumption (hope) would be that the tethering proviso applies only to use of a WI-FI hotspot.

2. Forgetting about the Lexus Pandora app, what about simply connecting to the car's audio via bluetooth?  Does that constitute "tethering" as well?

Thanks for clarification.
