Simple Choice blocks Short Codes from banks, schools, etc.

Dearest T-Mobile-

I was dismayed when I found out that I wasn't getting my banking alerts, campus closing alerts, or any other types of "short code" messaging.  When I spoke to your customer service rep in a live chat she stated that because I had the simple choice plan that all short codes were blocked and that the only way to get them was to switch to a post paid.  Now here's the rub:  Since I paid for "unlimited" texting, you are now blocking texts I have paid for to come through.  I would also like to see the block listed in the T&C that state short codes are turned off (can't seem to find it anywhere) and specifally some examples of what is blocked.  You can easily turn off downloads (which you do for the post paid accounts) and set the limit to 0.00 so I don't incur any fees past what I've paid for, but can still receive incoming short code messages.

Please fix this ASAP.  There is no reason why Tmobile should be blocking incoming text messages from my bank, school, etc.  For me to get short codes working, I have to round up all of my family members who live in different parts of the state and go into a tmobile store, or wait for new SIM's to arrive and have temporary numbers, then port them over.

This is a joke.
