I know that someone else has advocated recently for a coverage in Carlisle, PA (3G or 4G Coverage for Carlisle, PA | T-Mobile Support, https://support.t-mobile.com/thread/42885) But since they're old, I'm adding another voice. I've already done the online TakeAction advocacy form (twice now) and I'm trying to make it known that 2G is just unacceptable in today's world.
Carlisle is home to Dickinson College, the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, the United States Army War College, and sees hundreds of thousands of visitors yearly for it's annual Car Shows. It is the county seat of Cumberland County, and it sits nicely in the Tmobile 2g coverage zone. Meanwhile, no more than 15 miles to the east, blazing fast 4g speeds exist in portions of the county in Mechanicsburg Borough- which has less of a population than Carlisle! Carlisle is a major transportation Hub- serving at the intersection of US Routes 11, 34, 641, 74, and interstates 81 and 76. The fact that Tmobile continues to under-invest in this area is really quite depressing.
I'm begging Tmobile to really consider a network expansion in the short-term, near future for this area. A tower for Tmobile sits at 351 East Louther Street in Carlisle, buts its the only one for a while.
Thank you.
