Nokia 925 onto my Pre-Paid Plan, Help!

$

I have a Nokia N97 and it is about time to get another phone. I was looking to get the unlocked Sony Z2, but it was very expensive. The Plan I am using is $30 per month with Unlimited Text and Data and 100 Minutes of Talk. The phone I would like to have now is the Nokia Lumia 925. I need to know how to find one that will works on T-Mobile and allows me to keep my pre-paid plan.

1. I looked on T-Mobile's Website and found this phone Nokia Lumia 925 Used & Refurbished | Used Nokia Lumia 925 | T-Mobile  it is $199, but when you click buy, it wants you to pick a plan. Well I already have a plan and I don't want to lose it. Let me know it i read this wrong though.

2. If I find a Nokia Lumia 925 on eBay or Amazon that has the T-Mobile symbol on the bottom, will that work. Or is there a difference between US T-Mobile and other countries' T-Mobile.

To wrap it up, I am trying to find a Nokia Lumia 925 that works on T-Mobile 4G LTE and allows me to keep my plan. I already understand that I will need to purchase a micro-sim card kit, because i have a normal sim card now.

Good day. On Saturday I entered two devices for equipment trade-in.  I was unable to print the shipping labels at that time.  Now, I am unable to find the labels, nor the RMA number it is asking for.  I did a chat session Tuesday morning which has not resolved the issue.  Could someone please tell me how to access the RMA number(s) for my equipment trade in labels?  I would like to get them sent in ASAP.  Thank you!

you currently do not have data service .. redirect to u.web2go.com ?

Hi,

I have recently ported to T-mobile prepaid with an unlimited data plan. Voice is working fine, but data is not. Whenever I open browser, it redirects me to u.web2go.com, saying that I do not have data service.

I have read through this thread http://support.t-mobile.com/thread/60082 and believe that the problem is similar. The issue was eventually resolved successfully with T-force @tmo_rick sending a pm on instructions how to proceed.

Can @tmo_rick or someone please pm and give me instructions?

Thank you very much

Why can't I see when my contract is up on my account anymore?

Why does Tmobile make it so difficult for me to see this agreement I signed on to. I just want dates so I can plan accordingly. It seems extremely self serving and that you are purposely making information that should freely be displayed when someone logs into their personal account difficult to learn. I used to really love you guys but from all my accumulated experiences with customer support, I dont know anymore. You guys really treat your customers like sheep these days.

ETF Reimbursement RIPOFF!!!

I switched to TMobile from my family plan with Verizon. I purchased my phone and plan at the TMobile store at 2719 Gulf to Bay in Clearwater FL. The guy that handled the transaction, CALVIN, assured me that I would have no problem getting a refund after I submitted my final bill from Verizon. I submitted an email of a scanned copy of my final bill with the ETF CLEARLY CIRCLED on May 7th 2014. My claim was denied on May 18th,2014. I contacted a customer service rep by phone at the Rebate Processing Center (18773118853) on June 3rd 2014. The rep was able to locate my claim and assured me that I would be receiving a refund for the amount of $280 within a few weeks. I called the Rebate Processing Center today,June 17th, to re-check the status of my claim and the automated system has just informed me that my claim has been denied again, for the second time, on the day that I spoke with a rep, June 3rd.

This entire process has been exhausting and incredibly frustrating. The only reason I left Verizon was because of this promotion. I am very upset with the lack of transparency and communication on TMobile's part. I feel that the rep mislead me after I called the Rebate Processing Center and was assured that my claim would be resubmitted and that i would be getting the $280 ETF. I have been nothing but polite and patient with TMobile and their customer service reps; at this point it looks like TMobile is simply giving me the run around and hoping I will shut up and go away.

Has anyone had any success filing a claim with the BBB or the FCC?

Re-activate Account problems

Hi there I would like to re-activate my account and do this through the My T-Mobile service but I can't register as my Sim Card has been registered under the previous owner. The Sim I got from T-Mobile must have been used by someone else before they gave it to me.

How can I cancel that My T-Mobile registration so I can create my own one to re-activate my account?

I'm outside the US at the moment and want to complete this before I return so I have the phone ready to go when back. Because I'm outside the US I can't go into a store or use the phone number.

Regards

James

Southeast Michigan Network Issues

We've been a T-Mobile customer since Christmas and everything was good until about 2 weeks ago. I've notice a signal reduction in our area.  At work I used to be able to make calls at my desk with 2 bars, now it's 0 bars and I have to go outside just to get 1 bar.  I also noticed areas that had coverage outside no longer do so.

Did something happen in our area?

Very disappointed in TMobil service.

Why do I have no coverage from Wharton, Texas, El Campo, Texas all the way to Palacios Texas?  This has been for the last six months.  I got this phone at the end of Dec 2013.  Unless I am in range of a wi-fi signal, my phone  is almost useless.Your coverage map shows I should have 4G or 3G. NO!  Not even close.  I am not sure what the GPRS means unless it means - Sorry sucker, you are paying big bucks for nothing.  Has the service gotten worse because Sprint is buying out TMobile?  I had hoped it would get better.  I think I may need to compare Verizon and AT&T coverage.

Any information on when the 4G I am paying for will actually be available?

International Data Roaming Pass

Hi,

We'll be travelling to Europe for 10 days (from North America) and I'm confused about the Data Roaming Pass. We have the Simple Choice Plan currently across 3 smartphones with 2.5G each (average mo. use across 3 phones: 1.5G). Use of data while in Europe will be for "some" Google maps/navigation, websites, possibly some translations through Google Translate, a small amount of texting/calling and checking email. No downloading of photos, videos/music, attachments etc.

Does the pass eliminate roaming charges from European carriers/towers? Also is calling/texting included? It sounds like calls are 20 cents per minute and 50 cents for each text with the pass?

And my last ?: for the use I've listed here, do you believe 200 mg would be sufficient for 1-2 phones? We curtail our use when abroad.

Thanks!

Lost free 200mb on iPad mini

I Had free 200mb plan on iPad mini for about 6 months.  It stopped yesterday (June 16, 2014) . T-mobile technical care for Apple gave me a 1 day data pass and said they would fix the free 200mb plan problem.  The 1 day pass expired and the 200mb plan still has not been restored.  What should I do now?

FAQs

Is free Rhapsody unRadio and discounted Rhapsody Premier available to all T-Mobile customers?

We want everyone to be able to experience Music Freedom. But, in order to get all the benefits of unRadio and Premier, you'll need to be on our Unlimited 4G LTE data plan. These music features are designed to be used on our unlimited data plans, so it's not available if you're data plan is limited.

What if I change my data plan after adding one of the Rhapsody services?

If you change to a plan that is eligible for the same priced Rhapsody service, your subscription will remain the same. If you no longer want Rhapsody when you change, you'll have to cancel your Rhapsody subscription separately.

If you change to a plan that is eligible for a different price, your Rhapsody service will be canceled. You can easily add the service back for the eligible price while not losing any of your Rhapsody account settings.

Why does it say I already have an account when I try to sign up?

Rhapsody accounts are associated with your email address. If it states that you already have an active Rhapsody subscription, you'll need to cancel your current Rhapsody account so you can sign up again to get the exclusive T-Mobile pricing.

I purchased a Rhapsody subscription from T-Mobile and then signed up via iTunes. Why am I being charged twice?

If you signed up for Rhapsody through another service, you need to cancel that subscription right away. In order to get the correct pricing that we reserved exclusively for our customers, make sure that you sign up through T-Mobile. Rhapsody unRadio is automatically included to eligible unlimited data plan customers, while Rhapsody Premier is available at a discount to many of our customers.

About Music Freedom streaming

$

0

Music Freedom allows you to stream all the music you want from select streaming services and it won’t count toward your data. Depending on your plan, you automatically receive Music Freedom and at no additional charge.

Music Freedom is already included if you're on one of the following data plans:

  • Simple Choice Plan
  • Simple Choice Plan with No Credit Check
  • Pay in Advance (Prepaid)
  • Pay in Advance Mobile Internet

Some of our Classic plans also include Music Freedom. If you're not sure which data plan you have, you can find out by logging in to My T-Mobile and clicking PLAN at the top of the page. If you're still not sure if Music Freedom is included in your data plan, please contact T-Mobile Customer Service.

Depending on your phone or device, the following music streaming apps are available:

  • iHeartRadio
  • iTunes Radio
  • Pandora
  • Rhapsody
  • Samsung's Milk Music
  • Slacker
  • Spotify

Important: To stream music so you're NOT using up your data, you need to use the specific music streaming application. If you stream directly from a music company's website through a browser on your phone, you'll be eating into your data plan.

Note: Most music streaming includes small amounts of non-music streaming data, such as album art and pic advertisements. This data does use data from your high-speed data bucket, and the amount of data varies by streaming partner and the device being used. If you stream music for hours at a time, you can expect to see an increase in your data usage.

Difference between $20 and $30 plan option

http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t369/Andrew_Cee/tmobileplans_zps67a79a55.png So for my plan it gives me a $20 and $30 option; it looks like the only difference is mobile hotspot, but I've easily been able to give other devices more than 5gb of hotspot on my Nexus 5 before getting the out of data webpage. So are these plans the same, except one is $10 more? And I don't see the $20 option available for new customers on T-mobile's Individual plans page.

My name is Robert Adkison I am writing you about my contract. I am requested a early termination without  a penalty charge. The reason I am asking for this waiver is I live in Gatesville Texas 76528. My service is very limited here and doesn't include 4G or even 3G at all. I barely get 2bars I drop calls and lose service a lot. Before this date I worked at Fort Hood, just retired with 25 years military service. In Killeen the service was excellent. However since retired and staying at resident more I am not able to get a good signal.  I have been a good customer and kept my account in good standings. I hope you can see my side and the problems I am having. Please if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you for you time in this matter.

FAQs

How do I know if I have Music Freedom on my plan?

Music Freedom is intended for high-speed data users and our Simple Choice Plan customers. If you're not sure which plan you have, you can find out by logging in to My T-Mobile and clicking PLAN at the top of the page. If you're still not sure if Music Freedom is included in your data plan, please contact T-Mobile Customer Service.

What if I listen to music streaming from an app that's not part of Music Freedom?

Using any other music streaming apps will count against your data. At this time, Music Freedom only includes the following seven music streaming apps:

  • iHeartRadio
  • iTunes Radio
  • Pandora
  • Rhapsody
  • Samsung's Milk Music
  • Slacker
  • Spotify

I don't see my favorite music streaming app listed. Can I make suggestions?

We realize that there are many streaming music options out there, and that your favorite service may not yet be included in Music Freedom. We're only including domestic streaming services, and we chose companies that drive 85% of the music streaming traffic today to make sure the majority of users are covered.

However, we're always open to suggestions on improving our services. If you have an idea for a music streaming service that should be added to our Music Freedom selection, let us know!

Does Music Freedom include song downloads I can purchase through iTunes or Amazon? What about music stored on a cloud?

Music Freedom only includes commercial music streaming apps (such as Spotify); it does NOT include music downloads or listening to music on your cloud.

However, if you already have music physically stored on your device, then listening to those songs don't count against your data usage.

If I stream music through Smartphone Mobile Hotspot®, will it count against my data?

Yes. if you stream music through Smartphone Mobile Hotspot (also known as tethering), it would count against your data, and it's not covered under Music Freedom.

Do I get unlimited streaming music when I’m roaming domestically? What about when I'm roaming internationally?

Music Freedom applies to data usage on our T-Mobile network. If you're roaming domestically, you are subject to your roaming data limits.

In regards to international, if you're on our Simple Choice Plan, then you already enjoy unlimited data while traveling in 120+ countries and destinations. Streaming music while abroad never counts against your domestic high-speed data, but you should always check with the streaming provider for regional availability.

Classic Plan and UnCarrier 5.0/6.0

It so nice to see all the initiatives and you can take advantage of it. It would be nice for the T-mobile customer who has the classic plan to be grandfathered into a simple plan. I missed the Uncarrier  initiative by weeks when the Nexus 4 was released. It would be smart to take care of the customers you already have.
