Okay, here is my story.
I was going to get the Galaxy s3 from costco for 179.99 last month.
However, on 9/30, there was a promotion of the galaxy s3. It was 99.99 with new line activation.
I was not going to add a new line but my contract ended, so I called tmobile and see if they have any special offer for me.
I asked if I could get the galaxy s3 for 99.99 because it said only for new line activation(if they say no I could always go back costco). But it was smooth, the representative told me YES you may get the phone for $99.99.
So I ordered 4 phones for my whole family. She told me I need to add the internet service with the phones. No problem, that was what I wanted.
She changed my plan, renewed my contract, and told me she ordered the phones. She said the phones would arrive before 10/9, (Great, my mom's birthday was on the 10th).
I was excited! but on 10/8, I went online and tried to look at the order status. THERE WAS NOTHING! I called them and asked what happened. They told me nothing is on their record. Then why did they changed my plan??
They were throwing me back and forth between departments. They told me, the phone is $279.99.
The best they could offer is a $50 rebate, so it would be $229.99 per phone. I said no. It is not my fault. You have promised $99.99. You have changed my plan, and told me I would have the new phones.
I told them then I will cancel the service because if I don't have the phones, why do I need your service? They put me on hold again. Finally, I reached the loyalty dept. The guy said the same thing again, and me too.
I have repeated everything for 6 times. After fighting with him, and I guessed he fought with his supervisor? He said his supervisor can offer me the $99.99 for each phone. He asked me what colors I want. I told him. He said he was gonna send me an email and have somebody call me later to comfirm my order. Alright, I thought that will be it.
However, I have not received any calls or emails from them since that day. So I called again this morning. I went through the same thing again.
No order on their record. No $99.99 for the phone. It is 279.99, they can offer me $50 rebate since I am a loyal customer. GREAT!
I told them I need the phone for what you have promised. That lady told me how $229.99 is a great deal since I only have to pay $229.99 for the phone. If I was getting the phone for $99.99 I need to pay the activation fee, other charges, blah blah blah. I rejected her offer.
That guy I called on 10/8 even told me not to hang up yet since he was writing an email. While I was waiting, he was reading the email to make sure nothing is wrong. Now I guess it was all DRAMA!
I do not mind paying more money for the phones. If Tmobile you are so cheap and do not want to give me a phone for that price, tell me at the first time. You are wasting my time! What makes me frustrated is they lied and they do not do anthing they promised.
