Use this document for steps on sending text messages from My T-Mobile to T-Mobile customers.

• You must be logged in to My T-Mobile to send text messages.
• My T-Mobile will not send text messages to a customer of another carrier.
• Messages have a 160 character limit.
  Note: Character limit includes the first and last name fields.
• Messages sent from My T-Mobile will not come out of a sending party's messaging bucket
• Text message recipients are charged according to their rate plan and text messaging package.
• Only use 10-digit numbers when sending messages from My T-Mobile.

1. Open your web browser and log on to My T-Mobile.
2. Under MobileLife, click E-mail and text tools.
3. Click Send a text message.
4. Enter the recipient's 10-digit T-Mobile number in the To: field.
5. Enter your name in the From: field.
6. Enter message in Message: field.
7. Click the Send button.
