I travel a lot. This is also the first time that I've owned my own phone, so I believe it is prudent to understand all options available before making any decisions.
Why is it that I can pay $12/month for 1GB data service in the UK, Australia, and most of the EU, while in the USA it's double the cost. Doesn't anyone realize they're getting hosed by the mobile industry waving "unlimited" this and that in front of our faces like a carrot to a donkey?
It's ridiculous, and dumb. T-Mobile's coming down in price per unit of options available lately, but not even enough to compare globally.
Why is it so expensive here for data?
