signed contract in Dec 2012- TMo not holding up their end

we just signed a new contract in December 2012. all of my 5 lines were eligible for discounted upgrade before the new contract was signed. now we're not. and the new rate plans only save us $26 per month.

 

just got off the phone with TMo CS- she said they don't have a way of distinguishing between contracted and new customers? I think that's an outright lie. offered me a total of $110 off my bill over the next (however many) months. doesn't even come close, lady..

 

they won't dissolve the contract, so we would have to pay $200x5 to end a contract THEY are not holding up on their end.

 

we've been with TMo for 6 years. I have paid full price for several phones from them over the years. this is completely unfair, especially to previously contracted customers, and customers who just signed a new contract before all of these changes. we signed a new contract to get discounts on phones- ya, know the POINT OF SIGNING A CONTRACT. and now we're stuck in a contract, with no benefits, no discounts.

 

if you are on a contract and were eligible for discounts on phones before this new "un-contract" went into effect, it should be honored. plain and simple.
