Internet coverage on my 4G- capable phone drops at random. I am not driving or moving in any way, it is at random places, home, work, outing at bars etc. when it drops and if I am viewing a web page or waiting for it to load the message "web page not available" shows up and only the green arrow is showing and nothing red (i.e. device is only sending request and not receiving response). Same when sharing my internet connection from my phone to my laptop, at random times connection will drop (Windows 7 laptop).
Problem is somewhat alleviated by resetting the mobile data connection (hold Power Button > Mobile Data Connection on/off) and from there it works properly for some time. Just now it required multiple resets to make it work though. It is kind of dissapointing to do resets of mobile data for such number of times just to get the connection going.
I am talking about a complete drop of coverage, not drop from 4G to 3G or EDGE. According to the map of coverage provided here, the coverage is listed as "excellent" (dark green color).
Is it my phone that is at fault, or maybe tmo's transit to LTE? I have Samsung Galaxy S 4G.
