Hi. I've been having an extremely hard time getting a consistent answer to this question. The prepaid website lists speeds of "up to 4g" but does not mention LTE. I have looked through countless threads here in the support forums and read persaonl experiences that customer do in fact receive LTE if they are in an LTE market. It was again confirmed by a chat representative before I purchased the Sim card but I have yet to receive any LTE signal. I am a tech savvy person who has tried all the basic troubleshooting tips and have talked to customer support multiple times. What's interesting is that every phone representative has told me that I am not elegible whatsoever to get LTE on the $30 plan.
What am I missing? I have been able to get a single bar of LTE if I force it on my phone which shows that I can get it on the plan but at my house I get no LTE despite being in an excellent coverage area. I get full HSPA with advertised speeds but the tower doesn't seem to be putting out an LTE signal. My zip code is 93401 andnthe city is San Luis Obispo which has been an LTE market for almost a year. My phone is an LG nexus 5 purchased directly from Google Thanks in advance!
