What happens if T-Mobile finds that the phone that was traded in does not meet their standards? For instance, I have a Galaxy S4 and I think it's in pretty decent condition but the plastic backplate is missing and the volume button takes quite a bit of effort to use. I only see questions such as acceptable screen, water damage, and if the device powers on - none of these are an issue for me. But if I use a JUMP online and T-Mobile somehow found that these problems are hard to overlook, what happens then? Would I need to return the phone I JUMP'd to? Would T-Mobile charge me the full cost of the S4? The deductible?
Thank you for any assistance. I'm just a bit concerned that the pesky button problem could lead to a huge unexpected tab being added to my bill next month or so if I were to JUMP.
