Trying to get Moto G on TMobile Prepaid?

Hey guys - I'm currently on the 100min, unltd. text, untld web plan from T-Mobile for $30 a month, and its' great! However, I want to get a new phone - namely, the Moto G. I'm trying to figure out which version to buy, since they offer two configurations - one for Global GSM and the other for US GSM.

According to this post, T-Mobile uses the following bands for HSPA+/4G and 3G:

As with our 3G network, both 1700 MHz frequency and 2100 MHz frequency are required for a device to function. If a device only has one of these frequencies, it cannot use T-Mobile’s 3G and 4G networks.

Here's the data I've got so far as per the Moto G website:

US GSM Model:

GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)

UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 1700 (AWS), 1900 MHz)

Notice the lack of 2100 MHz for HSPA+

Global GSM Model:

GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)

UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

Notice the lack of 1700 MHz for HSPA+

Their website also says this:

Both models are compatible with all GSM-based cellular networks. GSM-compatible micro SIM card is not included.

Can someone help me out? I'd really like to upgrade my phone and keep this plan, but I'm really confused. Does this phone not work on T-Mobile?
