I just got off a 90-minute phone conversation with a T-mobile customer representative, trying to switch from Verizon to T-mobile by purchasing four phones - 2 new and 2 refurbished.
Because they first tried processing the order with a credit card under my name (account was made under my husband's name), verification department now wants me to go to the store in order to purchase our phones. The problem is that the stores do not have the older models, let alone refurbished models, in stock. And even after I verify in person at the store, they still won't let me go back online to purchase the models I want.. So now that I am not allowed to purchase online or via phone, it looks like I'll have to either start all over with my name online (and hope that it works), or just give up on T-Mobile.
If anyone else has faced a similar problem and has resolved this issue, please let me know.
