Back in April I got this message: "BIG NEWS! Say goodbye to domestic overages - for good." which linked me to a page that says: "We're eliminating overage charges, so your current talk, text, and data* services will now be unlimited in the U.S. at no additional cost... Text back and forth forever! With free texts, you'll only be bound by the strength of your thumbs." Great, free texting! I have an old 1000 minute family plan and pay 20c per text. But I was disappointed to notice that come this latest bill, my text messages are not in fact free. I revisited the site to find this little tidbit in the middle of the fine print: *.... Pay per use features may still incur charges...." So in other words, it's free unless it's not free... ? That's a pretty big asterisk. Why is TMobile trying to claim moral high ground ("They're wrong and they're gone") while employing deceiving marketing tactics?
