I want to do some consulting on canceling the family plan,
I am an international student that now has gone back to my home country.And I had stayed in the US for 1 and half a year. I started a family plan contract of 2 years on August 2012. And the end date will be on August 2014. I paid for it before it reaches the end date even though I have left the America so as to avoid the early termination fees. Now I'd like to know what can I do to cancel the contract on that specific date? Can I schedule to do so in advance? Can I do it online? or I have to make an international call to customer service?
Another problem is that some lines under my family plan want to keep their phone numbers. So I want to know what will happen to these lines when I cancelled the contract. Can they enroll their lines(same phone number) into other contracts, like prepaid contract, after I cancelled my family plan? What should they do? Need I be part of the process?
Third question is that I have EIP on my contract. If I wan to cancel the contract, I have to pay the EIP beforehand in full amount, is that right?
