I installed Lookout Free version on my Galaxy S3 on 6/8/2013; it was not pre-installed on my phone. Shortly after that I was automatically upgraded to the Premium Lookout because I was a T-mobile customer who had purchased the Asurion PHP. I have had Lookout Premium since that time until I was recently bumped back to the Free version (but I am still paying every month for the premium handset protection).
Being bumped back does bother me but I am really upset that in order to upgrade back to Lookout Premium there is a $4.00 fee added to my monthly T-mobile bill. I am upset because if I could upgrade through Lookout directly it is $29.99 a year which is $2.50 per month.
I want to be able to pay the $29.99 per year to upgrade to Lookout Premium. How do I do that? I cannot believe that T-mobile would take my freedom of choice away. I also can no longer uninstall Lookout. It was never pre-installed so how can I be forced to accept this app I may no longer want if I cannot get the upgrade choice I prefer?
I have been a T-mobile customer for a long long time and nothing has ever upset me more than this issue.
