I need to trade in my old device to qualify for the ETF reimbursment program. There's instructions in the ETF reimbursement FAQ which directs you to the Device Recovery Program which then asks for an RMA. Obviously, I don't have one. I purchased my new device from the T-Mobile store which directed me to the trade in page, which according to the FAQ should let me trade it in. My device wasn't on the list so it wouldn't let me proceed. These are the two options offered in the FAQs to trade in your phone for ETF reimbursement and neither of them are valid options.
I just need a mailer to trade my device in. Don't suggest going to the store either, that's where I first went and not only were they insistent I couldn't trade an older phone (what's that?) but tried to mislead me into signing up for optional terms by telling me they were required. Never again.
