Hello, I have two questions here, One is simple, the other more complicated.
1. If you are happy with your phone after the 6 months and you are available for upgrade, can you chose to not upgrade. Will you lose the ability after a time, is there an upgrade window? Could you theoretically wait 4 more months?
2. If one line is eligible for the Jump upgrade and one is not, can you switch with the other line? If you don't want or need a new phone, but the other person on your plan needs one, could you somehow take their upgrade date and they can have yours?
My situation is rather frustrating, because I was in the t-mobile store twice, once to get my phone, and once to get my husbands. BOTH times I asked to be enrolled in JUMP and both times I was told I was enrolled, only to find out later each time that I was not (unfortunately with no proof of the conversations had with the employee's.) After finding out I wasn't enrolled after the purchase of my husbands phone (who was successfully enrolled) I called and asked to be enrolled and they said it was no longer being offered at that time and they had no idea when it would be offered again. I called again the very next day and they said enrollment was open to me again, so I was enrolled. My phone will be completely paid off with EIP by the time my 6 months is up, negating the whole point of the trade in. He is now eligible, and doesn't need nor want to upgrade, but my Samsung S3 is twice replaced and on it's last leg. Seeing as I should have been enrolled long before him, and his phone is still brand new, from my perspective, I should be the one getting the upgrade. I have been a customer well over 10 years and if there is any value in that, I would think something could be worked out to take good care of me so I continue to be a customer. Having two failed JUMP enrollments does not reflect well on t-mobile staff.
