How can i cancel my service?

So, in a nutshell, I want to cancel my service with tmobile, for a couple reasons. First, my phone is glitchy. I have a samsung gravity touch, and the touch screen acts funny when i try and select things, and the screen goes fuzzy at random moments. This is my second one. Secondly, my phone has several very nice features, but because tmobile wants me to pay for their offered services instead of give me the ones included with my phone that are passcode locked, I am unable to use them. And third, the price is horrible. I'm paying 74 a month for an indivdual unlimited talk/text plan, no data. thats upped from 64 for a discounted phone after 2 years. Now, i've been with tmobile since I was 14, and had my plan through my mom. When I hit 18 last year, i went and got my own plan. No big deal. But I thought i'd be using my phone much more than I do. I use about 200 minutes and about 300 texts a month on average, mostly for work. And with no data thats paying for basically nothing. I've been looking at other providers near me, and I am able to get unlimited data, text, and talk for 50 bucks. Now it's not crazy good for saving, but that difference is a whole tank of gas almost. I'm turning 19 this month and I can't afford to pay such a high price for something i'm barely using, especially when I can get more for less through a different provider. I have a year left of my contract, and I'd like to cancel it. I would like a phone i have full access to features without having to pay for the same thing through a provider, and unlimited data would be great, especially since i can use it for work. Will i have to pay this $200 "Early Cancellation Fee"? I've never been late on a payment and i'm due to get my $100 deposit back this month. I've spent over 1k this year on just the phone payments and deposits etc. i'd rather switch and be able to save myself a few hundred a dollars a year. especially since i'd like to go to college someday...

thanks-
Austin
