Here is my situation and I'm not sure how to best handle it.
I have 1 line with Tmobile I just switched from Sprint. Service is perfect and I am really happy!
I have 4 other lines with AT&T (3 on contract with AT&T). Thus if I switch I will get hit with ETF fees. Now I really don't want to buy a new (Iphone 5S as no point, I rather wait until more features makes it worth it), so what it the best way to get Tmobile to cover my ETF fees for these lines I want to move over?
I do have one extra Iphone with cracked screen. I assume I can just use that as one trade in? When you go to the tmobile store, they don't look to see if the line is working when trading in?
What would I do with the other 2 lines with ETF? Buy a cheap Go phone for $20 and use that as my trade in?
I realize that Tmobile is doing a great job making things simple but they missed the step with customers wanting to switch without buying a new phone and keep the existing phones and those that are still under contract.
Thanks for any suggestions
