Pay in Advance Monthly Plan details
- Monthly rate plans provide 30 days of service. There's no monthly billing cycle.
- The rate plan automatically renews if funds are available in the account balance to cover both the rate plan price and the cost of any features.
- Service is suspended if funds are not available for both the rate plan price and the cost of any features. After 120 days, if the account is in a not-paid status, the account plan will change automatically to Pay As You Go.
- Data services are not available while roaming domestic or internationally.
- Free text message notifications keep you informed on your account status.
- Monthly plans are not eligible for Gold Rewards.
- Included with your plan, you'll get caller ID, call waiting, and Web Guard.

Activations:
With a refill card
Accounts must be activated with a refill card at minimum in the amount of the rate plan plus any feature(s), if applicable.
Without a refill card
- Activates the account in a not-paid status.
- Rate plan services cannot be used until a refill has been applied to pay for the month of service.
Pay By the Day details
How it works
Pay By the Day rate plans are perfect for you if you only use your phone from time to time. You're only charged on the days that services are used. See our Pay By the Day plans for pricing information.
- Daily Rate Plan charges are applied only on the days when using the handset for talking, messaging or data.
- You're not charged for the daily plan cost if you do not use any of the services.
- Daily Rate Plan charge is for a 24-hour period beginning at midnight and ending at 11: 59 p.m.
- Daily Rate Plan cost is not charged when making free T-Mobile calls (e.g. 611, 911, *ADD, etc.)
- Data Sync will trigger the rate plan daily charge. We suggest turning off data sync (when available) if you do not want it to trigger the daily rate plan charge
- Included with your plan, you'll get caller ID, call waiting, and Web Guard.

Pay As You Go details
Buy minutes. Talk and text away. When you run out, come back and buy more minutes. It’s a simple way to stay connected with no monthly payments and no hidden fees.
- You're charged for calls and messages placed and received.
- Data services are not available with the Pay As You Go plan.
- Gold Rewards program provides 15% more minutes once you have applied more than $100 in refills. For for more information, see Gold Rewards while using Pay As You Go.
- Minutes begin to expire the day they are added to your account, not when they are purchased.
Example: If you purchase a refill card on May 1 and add it to your account on May 14, the term of expiration begins May 14. - Included with your plan, you'll get caller ID, call waiting, and Web Guard.
For non-Gold Rewards customers:
- Unused minutes expire in 90 days. Exception: $100 refills expire in 365 days.
- For customers on monthly rate plans, the account balance expiration date is extended 90 days when rate plan is renewed.
For Gold Rewards customers:
- Unused minutes expire one year from the date you last applied airtime to your account.
- To help ensure you never lose your unused minutes, T-Mobile sends you a text message when your account is within five days of expiring. That way, you have ample time to refill your account and carry forward any unused minutes to your new expiration date.

Pay in Advance Mobile Internet details
Accessing Data
Pay in Advance Mobile Internet (MI) service allows you to use devices such as laptop sticks, tablets, and mobile HotSpot devices to access data with prepaid service.
- It provides an affordable service for low use or occasional use if you're concerned about wanting a credit check.
- MI is intended for occasional on-the-go data connections. This service is not recommended as a broadband replacement for home computers
- Included with your plan, you'll get caller ID, call waiting, and Web Guard.
Restrictions
- Roaming domestically or internationally is not available with Pay in Advance Mobile Internet pass.
- Tethering is not available.

How Data Passes Work
- A week pass includes 7 days; a month pass includes 30 days.
- If all the data has been used prior to pass expiration, you must purchase an On-Demand pass to continue service.
- You can always purchase an On-Demand data pass while in on active pass to be ready in the event you exhuast your initial pass.
- Passes expire at midnight on the last day of the cycle.
- Accounts stay open for one year without any activity. If no activity occurs for one year, the account is automatically canceled and a new SIM card and activation to is required to resume service.
- You can redeem all available EPIN denominations. The equivalent dollar amount is added to the account.
- Always choose the MI EPINs.
- Included with your plan, you'll get caller ID, call waiting, and Web Guard.
Refilling and Applying Funds and Data Passes to Your Account
You'll need to use a credit or debit card to purchase a 30-day auto renew data pass.
In order to access the Internet on your device, you must first log into your T-Mobile account, apply funds to your account, and then apply a data pass. Applying funds to your account alone will not apply a pass automatically.
Follow these steps to refill and apply data passes:
Refilling your account:
- Log into your My T-Mobile account.
- Add funds to your account with a refill card, debit or credit card. See Refill your Pay in Advance account for additional details.
- Once the funds have been applied to your account, proceed to apply the data pass.
Applying a pass to your account:
- On the right side of the page click on “View and change passes”
- You will be presented with the option to select a pass.
- Select the desired data pass.
- Select Submit.
- Upon completion you can take advantage of your data pass, and access the Internet.
