Unable to sign up for T-mobile account online

I activated my T-mobile pre-paid phone on Oct 24 and ported my number in from ATT without any problems. However, when I go to register to manage my account online, it asks for the 10 digit T-mobile phone number. When I enter my ported number from ATT that I am currently using on my T-mobile pre-paid phone, it gives me an error message stating "Please verify your 10-digit T-Mobile phone number is correct." over and over again. Please advise. Thank you
