I recently moved to Santa Fe, NM from Florida and for 5 years with tmo haven't had 2 phone calls dropped. Now when I moved to Santa Fe I got many calls dropped, my 4G coverage drops to E to G and very often to none, especially in certain areas including my home. Got in touch with customer support and one of the solutions OFFERED was change of phone number with one that starts with local area code. I didn't even had a chance to say "yes" or "no" to the offer, the call dropped. Next thing I know there was a message from tmo saying my phone number changed. Mind you, without my consent. I later got in touch with tech support, tried few things to improve coverage but it isn't much better. And this call to tech support was through a friend's phone, since my phone couldn't hold my call for even 2 minutes, calls would drop sooner than you could say "representative".
Since there's no tangible improvement in coverage, I asked for my old phone number back. I got the request number if any of support people here are interested. In short, I WANT MY OLD PHONE NUMBER BACK. Change was done without my consent, there's SLIGHT improvement in coverage and I have many other things to do than notifying a whole bunch of people that my phone number is changed.
You changed my phone number very quickly tmo, now I want my old phone number back just as fast.
