I am a foreign visitor and have a $3 Pay by the Day plan. I am travelling which means inconsistent coverage for T-Mobile (but I use German T-Mobile all over Europe) so the PbtD plan of T-Moble U.S. fits my needs here best. I come to the U.S. 2-3 times a year for 2-5 weeks. My next visit will be in more than 90 but less than 180 days. Please confirm if the following procedure is ok or give me (and many other regulare visitors) a better advice:
- let my balance drop to close to $0 before I leave the country (because I loose it but not the SIM activation after 90 days)
- top up my balance online before or when reentering the country
- change my plan online to Pay by the Day again online before ore when reentering the country (within 180 days)
- Enjoy T-Mobile services with the same phone# and SIM again
