New Account Activation Questions

Hi all,

I am a current verizon customer with 5 voice lines. Sometime in the next month, I plan to move 3 of my lines (will be contract-free very soon) to T-Mobile on a simple choice family plan. Later, I will add the remaining two.

I have checked online at t-mobile.com, and my employer participates in the Advantage program and I get a small monthly discount. I got an email with a link (to t-mobiledvantagedirect.com) to set-up my account where I can choose the plan / devices etc and the plan pricing reflect the discount.

I have already bought 3 Nokia Lumia 521 handsets that are still in the box. I understand that there are SIM cards in the boxes included with the phone.

The problem I am having is when I go to the link to  set-up my account, it forces me to add SIM starter kits to my plan, if I don't choose a device.Since I already have my phones and the SIM cards, I want to just set-up my account without buying anything. Is this possible?

Another question I have is regarding activation fee. Is there any?

Thanks in advance for all the helpful replies.
