Hello
I have this $30 prepaid plan with 100 minutes, 5Gb data and unlimited text. I have a few questions because it doesn't seem clear to me.
I've just moved to USA one month ago, and most of my contacts are in europe. So I am using mostly internet calls through the Viber software (Android phone, HTC one X). As far as I know, viber (and skype) should use my data when I make calls, but I was surprised to realize that my minutes were also deducted. The same when I received internet phone calls. Even worse, my minutes are deducted even when I make or receive Viber calls on WiFi!
Is it normal or is there a problem somewhere? When I was using these softwares overseas, I never had this issue. And the policy of these softwares is that it shouldn't use anything else than data.
I think this is crazy to deduct minutes AND data during such calls, and crazier when I'm using my home or office WiFi network...
