Lost or stolen handset while on Pay in Advance

Learn what to to when you have a lost or stolen device.

 

  • Contact T-Mobile immediately to suspend services if your device is lost or stolen.
    • Suspending the account will protect your account balance from being used.
    • After 30 days of being suspended, your account will automatically be deactivated.
  • A replacement device must be purchased.
  • Once you have a replacement device, call T-Mobile to activate your new SIM card on your existing account.
  • Refer to the Store Locator on T-Mobile.com to search for T-Mobile retail locations, national retail stores, and retail partners. The search results provide maps and driving directions. "Pay as You Go phone kit locations" is a menu option on the Store Locator drop-down menu.
