A few months ago I asked an agent if I could sign up for the Nationwide unlimited 4G data plan, and they told me I was able to replace my current 5GB data plan with this unlimited plan, for a cost of $30/month on Classic (or $20 for Value), and the answer was yes. However, at the time, my 4G signal was not so great, so I decided not to choose the plan at the moment. Since that time, my 4g signal has vastly improved, and thus have asked a T-Mobile agent via chat if I could get this 4G Nationwide unlimited data add-on to replace my 5GB plan, and was told that "the current Classic plan you have is the old one, we can only apply this feature to new plan customers only, Classic or Value". I was told that the only way I can get that 4G Unlimited plan added on was by "migrating" to a new Value plan, at a cost of $100.
I currently hold a 3-line Family Classic plan of 1000 minutes shared, with one line having 5GB data for $20/month. I would like to know if it is possible for the line to get the 4G Nationwide Unlimited Data plan, without changing anything else on my account or rate plan.
