Just over two years ago, I was notified by T-Mobile that they were going to merge with AT&T. I was forced into a 2 year contract in order to keep my phone service active.
My bill went up a LOT.
Obviously, the merger never happened.
Upon realizing I'd been screwed, I contacted T-Mobile by various methods, including posting on these "support" forums.
I was repeatedly told that there was nothing I could do. That I was locked into this contract, no matter what.
I have recently learned that it is fraud to trick people into contracting. In fact, it makes the contract null and void.
I want to sue for two years of overpriced phone service.
I am looking for other people who may want to join a class action lawsuit for this situation.
Please contact me at vanliewal@gmail.com if you are interested.
