I have two HTC's and one Blackberry on my account. As of a few months ago, my home signal started to deteriorate, and lately, I've received no signal at all, or a one bar, 2G signal only. According to the Tmobile coverage website, we should have excellent 4G coverage at our residence.
I wrote to TMobile customer service via fax, asking for assistance, up to and including requesting a waiver from the early termination fee, if the problem could not be solved. Included in the letter was several screen shots showing no coverage at my home on the telephones. The response from TMobile came in saying they can't issue a waiver, and the phone requires troubleshooting. The problem is, this is three phones, not one. Furthermore, friends who have TMobile also get no coverage to one bar only while at our house. Certainly, this is not an issue with the telephone. Furthermore, TMobile replied that their coverage map indicates that we should have excellent coverage. I agree that's what it says, but the reality is that we don't .. which if anything, I would hope that would help support my point; that even though we should, in theory, have coverage, we do not.
I spoke to an agent on the customer service phone number this afternoon, and unfortunately, they weren't helpful. They had said that there is no phone number that I can call to discuss this problem and see if the problem can be solved. Does anyone know how I can escalate this issue to someone who can either get the signal fixed, or get our fees waived so we can go to a carrier that does work?
