My parents are in Greece with their Galaxy Note 2s. Can they use the Wifi Calling functionality of their phones to send text messages to U.S. numbers without additional charges? Our T-Mobile family plan is unlimited talk and text. My mother has sent me some test text messages using the wifi calling function of her Note 2 and the texts are showing up on the activity log of our plan as having come from her home location in the U.S. But I'm not sure how we will be billed for these texts. Any info re whether texts sent from outside the U.S. via Wifi Calling are considered international text messages or domestic ones would be greatly appreciated.
