I was recently informed that I qualify to enroll in the T-Mobile Advantage Program. I am currently a prepaid customer, but apparently, I need to convert my account to postpaid to enroll.
Using the live chat feature, I was informed that a credit check would be run, I'd possibly need to pay a deposit, and I would also have to purchase a new SIM for my phone.
1. The credit check. I understand. It's par for the course with almost every carrier... no big deal.
2. The deposit. Okay... if my credit's subpar, I can see that too.
3. The new SIM. This is where you lose me. Why is there a need to charge me $10 and ship a new SIM? My phone is already on the network with a SIM.
