Hello Fellow T-mobile users,
I have been using my phone for 6 years and have been able to receive E-mail to text messages to number@tmomail.net for years. The digits past my Area code have been changed to prevent spam. Last November when I tried to sign up for a new notification service for my alarm system I did not receive their test Texts. I followed by trying to E-mail my phone from Yahoo and my work E-mail. all E-mails have not reached my phone after weeks of waiting and no rejection messages have been received to my E-mail addresses. I have tried the following variation of my phone number
I have made sure that E-mails were sent plain text only with "test" as the subject line (without the quotes). The body was the same. After contacting customer support and a ticket was opened for the problem the resolution was that I needed a new phone. Simple phone to phone text messages work both directions so I doubt that the phone's text message receiving ability has much to do with the T-mobile E-mail to text feature. I ensured that all text message blocking features were not enabled on my account. I see that several other people are having this issue so I am very interested in the resolution.
