Learn how to manage email filters and aliases on My T-Mobile. Email filters only work for messages sent to yourmobilenumber@tmomail.net or alias@tmomail.net. Find out more on the page.

 

 

Steps

Set up or manage spam filters

To set up a spam or keyword filter, follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
  2. After you log in, click on the MobileLife Email Text and Tools link. You may be asked to log in to My T-Mobile again.
  3. Click E-mail filters.
  4. Click Create Filter, Edit Filter, or Delete Filter.
  5. Fill out the filter information:

    1. Click SAVE.

     

     

    Set up or manage email alias settings

    An e-mail alias allows you to assign a unique name to your tmomail.net account. The alias must consist of a combination of letters and numbers.

     

    To create an email alias, follow these steps:

     

    1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
    2. After you log in, click on the MobileLife Email Text and Tools link. You may be asked to log in to My T-Mobile again.
    3. Click Change email address.
    4. Enter your new email in the text box.
    5. Click UPDATE.

     

     

    Block or allow messages sent to your mobile number email address

    To block or allow messages sent to your mobile number email address, follow these steps:

     

    1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
    2. After you log in, click on the MobileLife Email Text and Tools link. You may be asked to log in to My T-Mobile again.
    3. Click E-mail filters.
    4. Under Block all messages from E-mail to handset, click Yes or under Allow messages ONLY to My Phone's E-Mail address, click Yes.
    5. Click UPDATE E-MAIL FILTERS.
